III. Accelerate Internationalization Through its research and teaching and by the very nature of its community, UWMadison has a significant and increasing international stature, which should be fostered and promoted. International partnerships are evolving rapidly, and if we are creative and open about exploring opportunities around the world, we can exert new influence on such issues as the environment, poverty, and human rights in the global economy.
