II. Advance Learning

It is our mission to foster and support an appreciation of learning that is constant and enduring, that carries through the life of every individual we touch in a manner that enriches and extends his or her experience. Every person who works on campus is in the business of learning and educating, whether by direct action or by efforts to make learning possible.

Goals

To build community through residential education and an active engagement with the out-of-classroom learning environment
To encourage leadership through service, research, and individual creativity
To meet the needs of non-traditional students and promote lifelong learning
To use technology as an instrument of contemporary and multidisciplinary learning
To complement scientific literacy through the arts and humanities
